Shin Ji-ah scored 70.27 points in the technical score (TES) and 61.44 points in the component score (PCS) in the free skating, for a total of 130.71 points. She placed second in the final standings with a total score of 201.90 after adding a short program score of 71.19.

Jia Shin, who won the silver medal at the same event last year, is on the podium for the second year in a row.

Shin Ji-ah, who finished the game, said through her management company, All That Sports, “I’m happy to be able to win another medal after last year in the big event called the Junior World Championships.” I did not lose my confidence because I maintained it. However, I am very sorry that I tripped on the ice in the second half of the program and fell.”

Then, Shin Ji-ah added her determination, “I want to make up for the parts I felt this season and work hard to become a better skater next season.”

After the competition, Jia Shin will move to Toronto, Canada, where she will begin choreography for the next season, and will return to Korea at the end of March.
