Doosan’s Lee Seung-yeop-ho completes his second series sweep since joining the organization.

The Doosan Bears won the ninth game of the 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League against the Hanwha Eagles 2-1 on Monday at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul.

Doosan swept the three-game series against Hanwha to improve to 27 wins, one draw and 24 losses on the season. It was the second sweep for Lee Seung-yeop-ho, who also swept the Jamsil KIA from Dec. 12-14 last month. Hanwha, meanwhile, dropped its third straight game to fall to 19 wins, three draws and 32 losses.

Doosan’s starting lineup was Jung Soo-bin (center field), Kim Dae-kim (right field), Yang Ji (catcher), Yang Seok-hwan (first base), Kim Jae-hwan (designated hitter), Heo Kyung-min (third base), Hong Sung-ho (left field), Kim Jae-ho (shortstop), and Lee Yoo-chan (second base). Doosan struck first in the second inning. Yang Seok-hwan led off with a grounder to third base, took advantage of a throwing error by third baseman Noh Si-hwan, and reached second before Kim Jae-hwan singled to center field. Heo Kyung-min flied out to center field on the first pitch, but Hong Sung-ho broke the 0-0 tie with a single to right. It was Hong’s first hit in his debut. It was also his final hit of the day.

In the third inning, Jung Soo-bin led off with a double and Kim Dae-ki singled to left to put runners on first and third with no outs. Yang Ji calmly hit a sacrifice fly to left field to widen the gap.

The Hanwha bats completely failed to capitalize on Doosan ace Alcantara. From the first to the eighth inning, not a single runner reached second base. The only hits came from Jeong Eun-won in the first inning and Jang Jin-hyuk in the fifth.토토사이트
