LA Lakers’ LeBron James (hereafter referred to as LeBron) praised five other players for their scoring ability.

In an interview with ESPN on the 11th (hereinafter Korean time), LeBron revealed, ‘Among active players who can surpass their record when they reach the top of the career scoring list’.

With 37,965 career points, LeBron is only 422 points behind top scorer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. He’s averaging 29.1 points per game this season, and he looks set to easily surpass that mark when the team plays the remaining 41 games without injury.

Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Giannis Antetocumbo, Luka Doncic and Joel Embiid are the most likely candidates for LeBron’s record-breaking career.

Kevin Durant, the core of the Brooklyn Nets, is currently ranked 16th with 26,684 points, 15 years after his debut. Kevin Durant is one of the all-time greats in scoring, averaging 27.3 points for his career. Although he is currently away due to an injury, he is highly likely to enter the top 10 if he works hard to manage his condition. 스포츠토토

Kyrie Irving also plays for the Brooklyn Nets. Kyrie Irving is 12 years old and is currently ranked 155th with 14,870 points. However, he was unable to participate in the game due to refusal of the Corona 19 vaccine and suffered from injuries throughout his career, so he did not play many games. LeBron appears to have given points to his firepower.

Another player LeBron picked was Giannis Atetokum of the Milwaukee Bucks. He is ranked 141st as a 10-year player with 15,339 points. Giannis Antetocumbo, who has been averaging in the upper 20s for the past five years, has surpassed the 30-point mark for the first time this season.

Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia Sixers scored 9,473 points in 7 years and is still short of 10,000. Due to his injury, he took two seasons off after his debut, but he showed an active performance from his debut season. He’s currently the best center in the league, averaging 33.5 points per game and breaking down under his goal. Joel Embiid, who suffered from an injury before his debut, can rise up the ranks in an instant if he shows the same form now.

Finally, Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks. Five years into his debut, he has scored 8,220 points. He has been the core of the team since his debut season and has been the ace to this day. He averaged a whopping 34 points this year, and he performed well as an MVP candidate. Still in his early 20s, he’s like the Kevin Durant featured above, averaging 27.3 points over five seasons. If he shows the same performance as he is now without injury, he is expected to easily enter the top 10.
