Prior to the game on the 3rd, coach Yeom Kyung-yeop said, “(Yoo) Young-chan was tested in the victory group from yesterday.” It was neatly blocked,” he praised.

He continued, “I have a position. He has speed, he has a slider, he throws a forkball. He’s competitive enough. Now, as long as he continues to accumulate experience points, he is a player worth winning as a player.”

Yoo Young-chan appeared in 14 games this season and recorded an average ERA of 3.06 with 1 loss and 2 holds. In LG, Ko Woo-seok is in the rehabilitation group due to a back injury, and Jung Woo-young and Lee Jeong-yong, who played a big role in the winning team until last year, are not at a good pace at the beginning of the season. Yoo Young-chan’s rapid growth has given him more time to run the bullpen.
