Kim Chang-soo, playing coach, is a great help to Cheonan City FC.

On the 8th, the Korea Professional Football Federation held a press conference for the 5th media camp of the 2023 season K-League winter field training at the Barev Hotel in Seogwipo, Jeju Island. From 2:00 PM, Cheonan City FC, led by manager Park Nam-yeol, participated in a press conference.

Cheonan entered the K-League stage after 15 years since its foundation in 2008. Coaching at Seongnam FC and Jeonnam Dragons, and head coach at Gimhae City Hall and Changwon City Hall, we challenge the K-League 2 stage with coach Park Nam-yeol, who has continued his leadership career.

It was reborn as a completely new team in line with entering the pros. Free agency (FA) with Shin Won-ho, Kim Joo-hwan, and Han Seok-hee, and rental contracts with Chao-yeon and Kim Min-joon. Here, Kim Chang-soo, a former member of the Korean national team, joined as a playing coach, and expectations are also raised for the recruitment of Damir from ‘Suwon Samsung’ and the performance of Motta and Hodouf, a ‘Brazilian duo’.

The most eye-catching main character is, of course, Kim Chang-soo. He spent his career in Ulsan Hyundai (65 games), Busan I-Park (152 games), Daejeon Citizen (currently Daejeon Hana Citizen, 33 games), and Gwangju FC (24 games), and if you add up to Incheon United (21 games) last season, It shines in 303 appearances in the K-League. Kim Chang-soo plans to help Cheonan as a playing coach and will pass on his long-term experience in the K-League to the squad.

Q. Joining Cheonan

A. I came as a playing coach, so it is ambiguous to lean towards either player or coach. I think I should do well in the middle role. I hope I can help the team do well.

When I first joined, I think there were a lot of things that were lacking because it was a team that was preparing. There are many friends who do not have professional experience. It is a step that is gradually filled.

Q. K League 2

A. This is the first time. I wanted to experience it once before I retire. I also wanted to learn the coach’s guidance. I was thinking about a career as a leader, but I thought this opportunity would be very important, so I chose it.

Q. Participating in the game

A. I didn’t think much of it at first. He talked with the director and said that he would like to work together. He is recovering from a calf muscle injury in Thailand. I sweat and talk with the players and try to make the football the coach wants. 토토사이트

I think my role is to help out and leave the game. During the field training in Thailand, he also picked up a ball that had gone out and put a mat necessary for training. I think it will be cured by the end of March. I want to help him on and off the pitch.

Q. Playing coach

A. The coach says, ‘If you have something you want to say to the players, do it comfortably’, ‘If you decide to become a leader, you should do it anyway’, ‘If there is something wrong or something you want to say while exercising, do it’. I’m still hesitant to say anything.

Q. Team atmosphere

A. As the coach said, we are competing with each other. The team has changed a lot, so I don’t think I’m falling apart as a team, but as an individual. I had a practice game against Pohang Steelers yesterday, and I think there is a good chance.

Q. Young players

A. I was born in 2004 and am 20. Among my roommates, there are those born in 2004 and 2002. We joke and talk about games in order to approach each other comfortably. I am trying to make it as comfortable as possible. We are trying to create a free atmosphere rather than a rigid atmosphere.

During my time at Incheon United, (Kang) Minsuna and (Kim) Gwangseok had hyungs so I had a fun life. When I come here, I am the oldest. It’s not particularly lonely or uncomfortable, and it’s fun.
