Purple Dog, a wine subscription service, has launched a golf team centered around players on the Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Dream Tour.
Purple Dog will sponsor nine players on the KLPGA Dream Tour this year, including Kang Ria, Kim Da Eun, Kim Bo Bae 2, Noh Won Kyung, Park Ah Myung 2, Shim Ji-yeon, Yoon Hye Rim, Lee Hye Jung, and Jung Soo Bin.
Founding member Kim Bo-bae finished fourth at the 2018 SK networks Seoul Economic Open, while Lee Hye-jung finished fourth at the 2015 Chojung Carbonated Water Yongpyong Resort Open. Kim Da-eun and Park Ah-rim, both former members of the South Korean national team, are long hitters with drives of 290 yards.

Earlier this year, Purple Dog signed sub-sponsorship deals with regular tour players Ahn So-hyun, Lim Jin-hee, Na Hee-won, Kim Woo-jung, and Kim Hee-ji. The company also launched a subscription service for wine lovers with Ahn’s branded wines.
