Doosan Bears outfielder Song Seung-hwan suffered an injury from being hit in the face by a batted ball during training and was taken to the hospital.

Song Seung-hwan was scheduled to start as the 7th hitter and right fielder in the 5th game of the season against the Lotte Giants in the 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League to be held at Sajik Baseball Stadium in Busan on the 11th.
